Drops & Dusk

ExibitionsPosted by Camilla Sun, February 15, 2009 08:26PM
Drops & Dusk are inspired by the childish memory of making tassels.

I used leftover fabrics from the furniture industry, and wanted to give them a new and shining life - as poufs and chair.

Drops can be adjusted in positions as a chair, and just be used as a pouf at the floor.

Dusk can change height with the textile belt the poufs have around their "waste".

Thanks to photographer Mads H Pålsrud!!:)

Under Construction

ExibitionsPosted by Camilla Wed, February 11, 2009 07:46PM
Last week me and my class were in Stockholm exibiting our stand and funitures under the topic "Under Construction".

The theme is because we and our school are moving from our 100++ year old building, to locate together with all of the faculties at Oslo National Academy of the Arts at "Seilduksfabrikken" at Grünerløkka.

We were all very happy about our stand, and got lot of good respond during this interesting week!

This summer there was an exhibition in Sandnes, curated by the trend forecaster Li Edelkoort. The seminar "Folk futures" was held with the grand exhibition.

Li Edelkoort held an interesting talk about the design and craft of today.  Campana Brothers, Helle Jongerius, Tord Boontje were some of the "formgivers" who also participated in the seminar, aswell as the exhibition.
